PURPOSE: A method for freezing and drying strawberries is provided to minimize damages to nutrients of the strawberries, to store the strawberries for a long term, and to enable a taker to eat the strawberries without a strawberries process procedure. CONSTITUTION: A method for freezing and drying strawberries comprises the following steps: removing agricultural chemicals and several foreign materials from the strawberries using water, ozone water, salt water, and wind after selecting strawberries having good quality; quickly freezing and drying the selected strawberries in a vacuum chamber at (-)45°C for 12-96 hours and maintaining a moisture content of 3-9%; and processing the strawberries by cutting the frozen and dried strawberries into a slice, a chip, or powder shape. |
