The assembly (4) has a hot heat exchanging zone (4a) partially surrounding an element i.e. exterior temperature sensor (1), and exchanging heat with the element and an inner space, where the space is defined by a body of an object i.e. outside rearview mirror (R). A cold heat exchanging zone (4b) exchanges heat with exterior of the object. Ducts (5a, 5b) i.e. flexible pipes, connect the hot and cold heating exchanging zones for circulating heat transfer fluid between the zones. A heat insulation unit is provided between the element and another element i.e. threshold light. An independent claim is also included for an object comprising a body delimiting an inner space in which a to-be-cooled element is housed.
