<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is excellent as a measure for energy conservation with low power consumption, and surely prevents occurrence of an abnormal image such as the reduction of density and void of a formed image. <P>SOLUTION: A toner image is formed by visualizing a latent image formed on a photoreceptor drum 10 with a developing device 12, and the formed toner image is transferred onto a recording paper 5. A fixing device 3 makes a droplet 31a of a toner fixing liquid 31 adhere to unfixed toner transferred onto the recording paper 5, swells/softens it, and fixes it on the recording paper 5. After that, when not to form the image, a developing sleeve 26 for supplying toner of the developing device 12 to the photoreceptor drum 10 is rotated, and the time that the droplet of the fixing liquid contacts with the toner on a surface of the developing sleeve 26 is shortened so as to prevent the toner on the surface of the developing sleeve 26 from flocculating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
