PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of further properly reflecting an influence of deposit attachment with respect to the control of an engine assisting device. SOLUTION: The control device of the internal combustion engine 10 sets a basic learning area partitioned based on an engine operation state and a multipoint learning area partitioned based on the engine operation state in one of the basic learning areas, and updates a basic learning value when an engine operation state is in any of the basic learning areas, and updates a multipoint learning value when the engine operation state is in the multipoint learning area, and performs ignition timing control for calculating an ignition timing command value of a spark plug 14 based on the basic learning value, the multipoint learning value and the basic ignition timing and engine assisting control for setting a control quantity of an engine assisting device arranged in the internal combustion engine 10 separately from the spark plug 14 based on the engine operation state.
