PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the operation time of a sensor node by reducing the power consumption of the sensor node in a radio sensor system. SOLUTION: A received data storage 104 memorizes received data from a sensor node 2. A prediction data generating unit 103 generates prediction data which the sensor node 2 may generate next based on the data memorized in the received data storage 104. A communication control unit 102 regards the prediction data as the received data and memorizes it, when a predetermined time elapses before receiving data from the sensor node 2 after transmitting the prediction data to the sensor node 2. A received data comparison unit 205 compares the prediction data received from a base station 1 with the data generated in a transmitting data generation unit 203. A communication control unit 202 transmits the generated data to the base station 1 when the prediction data does not coincide with the corresponding generated data, and stops the transmission of the generated data when the prediction data matches the corresponding generated data.
