Provided is an electric-powered vehicle that, even though the vehicle has such a compact structure as is allowed to run on a sidewalk, can sufficiently maintain or recover operator's exercise ability and can suppress discomfort at the time of running. An electric-powered vehicle (10) is structured to be such a size as is allowed to run on a sidewalk and includes front wheels (14a, 14b) arranged at the front of a frame (12) in parallel in the right and left directions and rear wheels (16a, 16b) arranged at the rear of the frame (12) in parallel in the right and left directions. A rotation mechanism (64) provided at the frame (12) includes a rotation axis (68), cranks (70a, 70b) set at both sides of the rotation axis (68), and pedals (72a, 72b) provided at the cranks (70a, 70b). The front wheels (14a, 14b) are driven by electric motors (40a, 40b). When a reverse running switch (46c) is pushed and the cranks (70a, 70b) are rotated reversely, a control circuit (106) controls the electric-powered vehicle (10) so as to run in reverse.
