PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of suppressing problems such as the generation of an odor, and the send-out of dust and mold into a room, also capable of achieving an antifungal effect and an antibacterial effect without deteriorating the workability and a hydrophilic property of a fin, and obtaining the effects by the addition of a comparatively small amount of an antibacterial agent. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner having the fin A composed of a fin base material 1, an undercoating layer 2 for covering a surface of the fin base material, an anticorrosion resin coating layer 3 further covering the surface, and a hydrophilic resin coating layer 4 further covering the surface, the hydrophilic resin coating layer 4 includes water-soluble metallic pyrithione 5, and incorporates a light source B for applying visible light to the fin A.
