<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storable multi-purpose seat used by a person with disability which prevents a handrail from swinging in conjunction with swinging of a seat body according to applied force even when a user applies great force to the handrail of the seat body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The storable multi-purpose seat 10 includes a swinging member 30 for controlling movement of the handrail 15. The swinging member 30 is formed retractably so that the swinging member is stored inside the seat body 11 when the seat body 11 is stored, and the swing member abuts against the handrail 15 when the seat body 11 is used, and so that the seat body 11 is not swung toward a direction for storing by operating force applied to the handrail 15 at least when the seat body 11 is used.
