WORKING GAS CIRCULATION ENGINE

A working gas circulation engine comprises a combustion chamber (CC) being supplied with a reactant and working gas having a ratio of specific heats higher than that of air wherein the working gas can expand as reaction of the reactant progresses, a circulation passage (20) which can circulate the working gas from the exhaust side to the suction side of the combustion chamber (CC) and can supply the working gas again thereto, a supply means (2) for supplying the reactant, a concentration detection means (3) for detecting the concentration of the reactant in the circulation passage (20), and a supply control means (4) for setting the amount of reactant being supplied by the supply means (2) at least at the time of starting based on the concentration of the reactant detected by the concentration detection means (3) before the supply means (2) begins to supply the reactant. With such an arrangement, the working gas circulation engine can be started properly.
