A thermoelectric conversion module with a design which minimizes damage caused by the heat of a pressing member, minimizes heat dissipation going through the pressing member at the high temperature side as well as minimizes the decrease in thermoelectric conversion efficiency caused by that heat dissipation, and which achieves good electrical continuity even when the thermoelectric conversion device and electrodes are not bonded by bonding members. A low temperature side electrode (6) protrudes toward a high temperature side substrate (8), and slanted surfaces (6a, 6b) are formed on the low temperature side electrode (6), wherein at said slanted surfaces (6a, 6b), the angle (?) against the surface of the low temperature side substrate (7) is an acute angle. The surface (3a) of the p-type thermoelectric conversion device (3) contacting the low temperature side electrode (6) runs along one of the slanted surfaces (6a) of the low temperature side electrode, and the surface (4b) of the n-type thermoelectric conversion device (4) contacting the low temperature side electrode (6) runs along the other slanted surface (6b) of the low temperature side electrode (6). The p-type thermoelectric conversion device (3) and the n-type thermoelectric conversion device (4) contact the low temperature side electrode (6) at the slanted surfaces, and a pressing member (5) presses a low temperature substrate side portion of the thermoelectric conversion device (10) on the outside toward the other thermoelectric conversion device (10) on the outside.
|
