The heat exchanger (1) has a tubular plate (2), a side part (4) and a stack (3) comprising guiding pipes (10) that are arranged at a distance from each other and guide medium e.g. fluid or cooling agent. The stack is inserted in a through hole of the tubular plate with an edge. Edge sides are arranged opposite to each other and soldered with the stack. One of the edge sides is flexible, and establishes an operative connection with an end portion of the side part at a rear side, where the connection is provided for transmitting force. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger.
