The arrangement has a body control module (3) that is necessary and/or indispensable for vehicle functions and provided in a vehicle (1) as a central controller. A mobile telephone transceiver (7) is integrated into the body control module. The body control module activates an emergency call by the integrated mobile telephone transceiver. The body control module is connected with a common voltage supply (2) of the vehicle by supply lines (8). An emergency battery (5) is provided for the body control module.
