<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversion device, a conversion method, a display system and a computer program which make Kana easy to view. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer (PC) 1 receives lyrics data from a server device 2 via a network N. The PC 1 adjusts the arrangement for a letter string with Kana for each letter for making a Kana letter string, by inserting a blank letter into a letter string which is read from the lyrics data, or a corresponding Kana letter string. The PC 1 converts an input data to the letter string with Kana in which arrangement is adjusted, and a display data in which the Kana letter string and letter strings without Kana are arranged.
