PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of separating an acidic organic compound capable of more well separating an acidic organic compound becoming a separation target than before without adding an acidic component separate from the separation target in non-aqueous chromatography. SOLUTION: In the method of separating the acidic organic compound, the acidic organic compound having oil-soluble properties is set as the separation target to be separated from a raw material containing the acidic organic compound becoming the separation target by a chromatography method wherein a non-aqueous developing solvent is used as a moving phase and a silica gel, of which the surface is modified by an acidic functional group, is used as a fixed phase. Preferably, a sulfo group or a carboxy group is introduced, as the acidic functional group which modifies the surface of the silica gel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
