<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separate type conveying roller capable of preventing its dropping from a shaft without using a connection member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The disk-like conveying roller including outer circumferential surfaces 407A, 407B capable of contacting with an object to be conveyed, a center hole for fitting with the outer circumferential surface of the shaft 330 consists of separate rollers 412A, 412B which are separated into substantial halves by a separate surface crossing the center hole sidewise. The respective separate roller includes a partial curved surface, which is part of a collar for specifying the center hole, for contacting a part of the outer circumferential surface of the shaft 330, a protruding part 428A for protruding to a side of another separate roller along the partial curved surface in the dividing surface and a recessed part 426A corresponding with the protruding part 426B of the other separate roller and arranged at a position opposite to the protruding part 426B across the center hole.
