<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of improving operability and decreasing operational cost by continuously performing a printing operation and an embossing operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The printer is provided with a paper feeding apparatus 11 for feeding a web W, a printing apparatus 13 for performing printing on the web W having fed from the paper feeding apparatus 11, an embossing apparatus 18 for forming an uneven shape to the web W on which the printing has been performed by the printing apparatus 13 and dried, and a paper discharging apparatus 20 for discharging the web W on which the uneven shape has been formed by the embossing apparatus 18.
