PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric component capable of reducing stray capacity generated between a coil and an external electrode. SOLUTION: A laminate 12 is formed by laminating a plurality of magnetic layers. The external electrode 14a is provided on the side surface of the laminate 12. The external electrode 14b is provided on the side surface of the laminate 12 which opposes the side surface provided with the external electrode 14a. A coil L, a spiral coil built in the laminate 12 and having a coil axis C10 extending between the external electrodes 14a, 14b, has such a shape that a coil diameter becomes smaller with coming close from an intermediate point between the external electrodes 14a and 14b to the external electrodes 14a and 14b on the coil axis C10.
