A method for controlling downlink service data in collaborative MIMO to perform content synchronization in the collaborative MIMO in a wireless communication network is provided by the present invention, the method includes: the serving base station in the collaborative MIMO performing data link layer process for the service data to be sent to a mobile station, so as to achieve the first data packet, and sending the first data packet to other collaborative base stations in the collaborative MIMO; thereafter, each base station (may include the serving base station, also may not )taking part in data packet sending in the collaborative MIMO sending the first data packet to the mobile station on the same time-frequency resource. With the technical solution of the present invention, it can be realized effectively that each base station in the collaborative MIMO transmits the same data to the mobile station on the same time-frequency resource, namely, can realize content synchronization of downlink service data in the collaborative MIMO.
