METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING ZERO-INTERFERENCE CHARGING AT WAPI SYSTEM TERMINAL

A method for implementing zero-interference charging at a Wireless Local Area Network Authentication and Privacy Infrastructure (WAPI) system terminal, can be applied to a wireless local area network adopting WAPI as authentication and privacy mechanism. The invention includes that an online request of a user is sent to Access Controller or Broadband Access Server (AC/BAS) by Access Point (AP), AC/BAS accomplishes service authentication and Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) charging process through using the user identity field in the online request, and charging for the user is achieved through sending online and offline message by AP. The invention prevents AC/BAS from monitoring the user's state in real time for the purpose of charging. The scheme provides the complete operation and maintenance solution, and provides the advantage of user zero-interference, simple terminal interface, simple charging process and high security, and the invention can recognize which users are required to be subjected to zero-interference charging, satisfy the operation requirements under the environment in which multiple user requirements exist, and provide guarantee for WAPI Secure, Operationable, Manageable (WAPI SOM) network solution.
