摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dividedly use a high-speed mode of a winding switching method and a high-speed mode of a voltage stepup method. <P>SOLUTION: This control method of a driving device for an electric motor includes first determining steps (S3-S5, etc.) for executing prescribed determination about the state of a certain device equipped on the vehicle or the tendency of driving of a driver, second determining steps (S6, S8, S11, etc.) for determining that the state of operation of an electric motor 5 shifts to a zone near to high-speed rotation from a predetermined switching line P, and switching steps (S7, S9, S12, etc.) for selectively switching the output characteristics of the electric motor 5 to either the high-speed mode of the winding switching method using a winding switching means (50) or the high-speed mode of the voltage stepup method using a voltage stepup circuit 52, based on the state of the certain device or the driving tendency of the driver which is determined in the first determining step, when it is determined that the state of the electric motor 5 shifts to the zone of a high rotation side in the second determining step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
