摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger in which turbine inlet energy supplied to an exhaust gas turbine is accurately estimated, and an opening target value of a variable nozzle is set with high accuracy based on the turbine inlet energy. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for the variable nozzle turbocharger includes a variable nozzle that is provided at an inlet side opening of an exhaust gas turbine and controls the capacity of the turbocharger, and an actuator that drives the variable nozzle in accordance with the opening target value. The turbine inlet energy EN_TIN is calculated based on an exhaust flow rate EQH_EXH, a turbine inlet temperature ETTIN at the upstream side of the exhaust gas turbine, and a turbine inlet pressure RPTIN at the upstream side of the exhaust gas turbine, and the opening target value of the variable nozzle is set based on the turbine inlet energy EN_TIN and an EGR rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
