<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear bumper coping with an asphalt finisher having a sufficient shock resistance with a simple, light and inexpensive structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A cargo vehicle rear bumper is at a ground height within a limited range at a loading platform rear part of a loading platform frame 5, and a rear bumper 8 is supported by a rotary support 9 at an inner position within the limited range from the loading platform rear end to jump and move to the loading platform frame 5, to mount tips of link arms 6 serially connected by a first arm 6a and a second arm 6b to the rotary support 9. In this case, a receiving platform 16 for restraining downward rotation relative to the first arm 6a while the rear bumper 8 move downward and the link arms 6 is under a linear condition is provided. A rod 17a of an air chamber 17 as rotary driving means is coupled to a rotary drive shaft 14 at a base end of the first arm 6b to bend the link arms 6 backward of the loading platform frame 5 by the upward rotation.
