<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing ink for inkjet with stable quality suppressing foaming, enabling smooth feed of the ink in a recording apparatus, and excellent in discharge stability. <P>SOLUTION: (1) This method for producing ink for inkjet containing a silicone-based defoaming agent includes filtering preink containing ink components excluding a part or all of the silicone-based defoaming agent and mixing the filtered preink with the silicone-based defoaming agent.
