<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an adhesive layer from being shaved off by forming a thin and hard adhesive layer to thereby prevent the appearance of the roller from being deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing the elastic roller for electrophotography constituted by sticking an elastic layer 102 on a shaft core body 101 through the adhesive layer 103 includes a step of applying adhesive to the outer periphery of the shaft core body, a step of hardening the adhesive by applying ultraviolet rays to form the adhesive layer, a step of mounting a ring-like member around the shaft core body having the adhesive layer formed on it, a step of discharging and applying liquid rubber on the outer periphery of the adhesive layer by using an annular coating head, and a step of heating and hardening the applied liquid rubber to form the elastic layer. The adhesive contains silane coupling agent having at least organoalkoxy silane having epoxy group, photocation polymerization initiator, and vinyl group, and thickness of the formed adhesive layer is 10 nm-100 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
