PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble to search for a reproduction starting position where a viewing environment has been changed.

SOLUTION: A change detector 102 detects a change in viewing environment. A viewing position holder 103 holds positional information of data being displayed on a monitor 111 at a point of time when the change in viewing environment is detected by the change detector 102. Upon receipt of a re-viewing instruction, a reproduction controller 104 reproduces data applicable to the positional information held in the viewing position holder 103.
