PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial mixer which develops a conventional biaxial mixer to further improve kneading performance, and enables the more efficient and suitable kneading than a conventional biaxial mixer. SOLUTION: The left end of a first kneading shaft 3 and the right end of a second kneading shaft 3' are provided with two-strip spiral blades 5, respectively, which have bilaterally symmetric shapes, and feed out materials in a kneading tank 2 continuously in directions of the kneading shafts 3, 3' rotating so that a rotating track meet the inner wall of the kneading tank 2. The spiral blades 5 of the first kneading shaft 3 are formed from the left end toward the right end and the spiral blades 5 of the second kneading shaft 3' from the right end toward the left end extending to the utmost limit not to interpose mutually. On the other hand, the right end of the first kneading shaft 3 and the left end of the second kneading shaft 3' are provided with short return blades 7, respectively, returning the materials fed out of the spiral blades 5 to the other adjacent kneading shaft 3, 3' sides.
