<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a catalyst for synthesizing an unsaturated carboxylic acid in a high selectivity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the catalyst containing phosphorus, molybdenum and antimony and at least one element of potassium, rubidium and cesium satisfies all of the following (1) to (3). (1) A raw material solution A is prepared by mixing at least a part of raw materials containing molybdenum and phosphorus with water and added with a whole amount of a raw material containing at least one element of potassium, rubidium and cesium and then added with a raw material solution B containing antimony. (2) The raw material solution B containing antimony has both an antimony compound of three valences and a carboxyl group in water and dissolves at least a part of the antimony compound. (3) A mixed solution obtained by adding all raw materials of the catalyst has a pH of 3 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
