<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and easily estimate and identify species without requiring high-level technique or special knowledge, even when various microorganisms coexist in a sample, or in determining the breed of species other than microorganisms. <P>SOLUTION: The system for identifying species has: a homology search function for searching sequences having high homology with input data from a sequence database; a function of selecting a sequence with high homology from the result of homology search by use of a predetermined filtering condition;a function of searching species including the sequence obtained by the filtering from a species database to estimate the species including the input data; a function of setting the sequence obtained by the species search function as a sequence with known species and setting the input data as a sequence with unknown species; a function of multiple aligning the sequence with unknown species and the sequence with known species; a function of forming a phylogenetic tree based on the result of multiple alignment; and a function of forming an alignment database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
