PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor having high mobility, a large current on/off-ratio, and excellent in storage stability. SOLUTION: The organic transistor has an organic semiconductor layer which contains at least one kind of a compound represented by general formula (1). In the general formula (1), X<SB>1</SB>-X<SB>18</SB>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a straight chain, branched or cyclic alkyl group, a straight chain, branched or cyclic alkoxy group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group.
