PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance response performance at interaction time more than before. SOLUTION: A robot comprises: a response sentence creating section 22 for creating response sentence to received speech; a waveform data creating section 24 for creating a waveform data including a waveform corresponding to an input response sentence, according to input of a response sentence created by a response sentence creating section 22; and a waveform data table storage section 25 for holding the response sentence and the waveform data created by the waveform data creating means 24 by relating each other, based on the response sentence. The waveform data creating means 24 determines whether or not, there is the waveform data related to the input response sentence in the waveform data table storage means 25, according to input of a present response sentence. When there is the objective waveform data in the waveform data table storage means 25, the objective waveform data is read from the waveform data table storage means 25, and the read waveform data is output.
