发明名称 METHOD OF DETECTING INK DISCHARGE CONDITION AND INKJET RECORDING DEVICE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately decide about an influence of auxiliary droplets and automatically restrain the influence of the auxiliary droplets in ink recording. SOLUTION: The method of detecting an ink discharge condition is intended to record a first pattern 15 having a high-density distribution of dots in the direction x/y intersecting the row Ny/17y of nozzles at right angles but a low-density distribution of dots in the direction y/x parallel with the row of nozzles and less susceptible to the influence of the auxiliary droplets, and a second pattern 16/16a/16b having a high-density distribution of dots in the direction y/x parallel with the row of nozzles and a low-density distribution of dots in the direction x/y intersecting the row of nozzles at right angles, having the same recording density as the first pattern and susceptible to the influence of the auxiliary droplets on the recording paper, measure the densities, compute a parameter showing the relative relationship between both pattern densities, and decide about presence of an influence of the auxiliary droplets in a second pattern image by the control means 19 of an inkjet recording device having a recording head 5/17 having the row Ny/17y of nozzles and the control means 19 to relatively scan and drive at least one 5/17 of recording paper 7 in the direction x (Fig.1)/y(Fig.13) intersecting the row of nozzles at right angles, and urge the recording head and discharge ink droplets to the recording paper.
