<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask for arranging particles and a particle arranging method using the same, accurately arranging particles in a predetermined cell in utilizing the mask for arranging particles to arrange a particle group as a display medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The display medium is arranged in a panel space formed by making two panel substrates opposite to each other. In manufacturing an information display panel displaying information by driving the display medium formed as the particle group including chargeable particles by an electric field formed between the opposite panel substrates, the mask for arranging particles including an opening and a mask part according to the respective display areas is used for arranging different kinds of display media in the respective display areas formed by dividing the whole display area. In the mask, the edge part 11-3 of the mask part 11-2 is made thicker than the other portions of the mask part like a frame, thereby preventing the edge part 11-3 of the mask part from being warped.
