<p>The method involves providing a central venous catheter for injecting cold bolus into vena jugularis and vena subclavia over inferior canal vein. A thermodilution sensor is arranged in arteria femoralis for detecting temperature changes of blood. A thermodilution curve is determined from the temperature changes in the blood over a time period based on hemodynamic parameter e.g. cardiac output, intrathoracic blood volume, and global end-diastolic volume.</p> |
