摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine in which a refrigerant can directly cool a coil and which can highly efficiently cool the coil. SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine 100 includes a stator comprising a stator core 140 which is circularly formed and in which stator teeth 171 are formed on a peripheral face, and a coil 180 installed on the stator teeth 171, and with a coil end cover 172 which is so arranged on an axial direction end face of the stator as to cover the axial direction end face and the coil 180 and specifies a refrigerant passage where the refrigerant can circulate on the axial direction end face of the stator 140. A gap 181 is formed between the axial direction end face of the stator teeth 171 and an inner peripheral face of the coil 180.
