发明名称 METHOD FOR REMOVING CHLORINE IN ACIDIC LIQUID
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy and inexpensive method for removing chlorine in an acidic liquid for reducing chlorine to an infinitesimal level desired in usage for electronic materials or catalyst materials, by separating and removing chlorine ions included in a sulfuric acid acidic liquid of nonferrous metal such as nickel sulfate, cobalt sulfate, zinc sulfate and manganese sulfate. SOLUTION: The method for removing chlorine in an acidic liquid comprises: allowing divalent copper ions to be present in an acidic liquid containing chlorine ions; rendering the acidic liquid containing the divalent copper ions into a potential of 200 mV or lower under acidic conditions (using Ag/AgCl electrodes); and separating a produced precipitate from the acidic liquid.
