PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor having high mobility and a large current on/off-ratio, and excellent in storage stability. SOLUTION: The organic transistor has an organic semiconductor layer which contains a compound represented by general formula (1) A<SB>1</SB>-A<SB>2</SB>. In the general formula (1), A<SB>1</SB>and A<SB>2</SB>are each a group represented by formula (a) or formula (b). In the formula (a) or formula (b), X<SB>1</SB>-X<SB>14</SB>are each hydrogen, halogen, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or an aryl group.
