摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive mechanism of a variable diffuser that is not influenced by a variation in supercharging pressure. SOLUTION: The drive mechanism 12 of the variable diffuser is driven between a projecting position P1 for projecting and a retreat position P2 for retreating a vane 11 of the diffuser 5 to a diffuser passage 8, and has a movable member 24 for partitioning a first chamber 21 and a second chamber 22 for adjusting air pressure and a supercharging pressure chamber 23 for introducing the supercharging pressure, and a first seal member 25, a second seal member 26 and a third seal member 27 for mutually sealing the respective chambers 21-23. The vane 11 is connected to the movable member 24, and is reciprocally driven between the respective positions P1 and P2 by moving the movable member 24 by adjusting at least one air pressure of the first chamber 21 and the second chamber 22, and the movable member 24 has a first surface 24a and a second surface 24b vertical to the moving direction of the vane 11, and is constituted for applying pressure so that the supercharging pressure mutually negates with each other with respect to each surface.
