PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a position relation between a front object detected ahead of a traveling direction of a vehicle and one's own vehicle to a passenger in an easily understandable manner. SOLUTION: This driving support information providing device includes a control device 10 causing the following functions to be executed: a position relation calculation function for calculating the position relation between the front object detected ahead of the traveling direction of the vehicle and one's own vehicle; a proximity calculation function for calculating a proximity between one's own vehicle and the front object on the basis of the position relation; a diagram derivation function for deriving a diagram that simulatively represents the proximity between one's own vehicle and the front object in the position relation; and a display function for displaying driving support information including the derived diagram within the peripheral visual field of a driver of the vehicle.
