<p>The invention provides a damping hinge (100) including a cup-shaped bracket (30), a frame bracket (10), an intermediate bracket (20) adjustably coupled to an elongated opening of the frame bracket (10) by means of a pin, a first articulating arm (41), one end of which is articulated to the intermediate bracket (20) by means of a pin, the other end of which is jointed to the cup-shaped bracket (30), and a second articulating arm (421), the middle part of which is hinged to the intermediate bracket (20), one end of the second articulating arm (421) is linked to the cup-shaped bracket (30), the other end of the second articulating arm (421) is swiveled to one end of an intermediate arm (422). The other end of the intermediate arm (422) is knuckled to one end of a damper drive arm (423). A middle part of the damper drive arm (423) is pivoted to the frame bracket (10), the other end of the damper drive arm (423) is jointed to a piston rod (431) of a damper (43). A main body of the damper (43) is coupled to the frame bracket (10) by the aid of an adapting base. An advantage of the hinge is that during closing of the hinge, the closing speed of the hinge could be damped by providing a damper cylinder, thus preventing a door panel of a cabinet or furniture from slamming a frame of the cabinet or furniture owing to quick closing of the hinge.</p> |
