Anti-scatter grid for an X-ray device

Stray radiation shield (53) for an X-ray machine has a series of absorbing plates (51) embedded in rigid foam (52). Independent claims are included for: (1) an X-ray machine fitted with the screen; (2) a collimator, especially for a single photon emitter or positron emitter with a series of plates which form the collimator channels and are embedded in rigid foam; (3) a gamma camera fitted with the collimator; (4) a single photon emitter for use with the gamma camera; and (5) a positron emitter fitted with a detector and with the collimator.
