In a component-or as shown a plug-strip the components or plugs 11 are retained in slots 2, 10 in and by two resilient plastic strips 1, 9 respectively the retainer strip 9 having cam shoulders 12, 13 which snap into slots 7, 8 in strip 1 as the strip 9 is pushed into a recess in strip 1 and over the plugs assembled in the slots 2 in the latter strip.
