METHOD FOR LABEL-FREE ELECTRICAL DETECTION OF MUTANT P53 USING MOSFET BIOSENSOR

PURPOSE: A biosensor of MOSFET(metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor) for detecting mutated p53 is provided to monitor carcinogenesis. CONSTITUTION: A biosensor of MOSFET for detecting p53 comprises: a channel which is dopped at the upper side of the substrate; a source electrode(3) and drain electrode(4) which are formed at both sides of the channel(2); an oxide layer(1) which is placed at the upper portion of the channel and contacts one side of the source electrode and drain electrode; and a gate electrode(7) in which p53-specific DNA is fixed on the surface. The substrate comprises a silicon(6) and silicon dioxide(5) of monolayer. The gate electrode is gold thin film electrode. The gate electrode is activated by treating through APCVD(Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition), LPCVD(Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition) or PECVD(Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition).
