LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display having driving frequency of 240 Hz is provided to prevent video faults, to improve a response speed of the liquid crystal display including a polar compound, and to reduce plane afterimages and line afterimages. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display comprises: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a pair of electrodes for generating an electric field, which are formed on the first substrate or the second substrate; and a liquid crystal layer which is sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate. The liquid crystal layer includes a liquid crystal composition including a polar compound which is marked by chemical formula 1.
