<p>FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sailing vessels. Sailing vessel comprises sail with mast and keel coupled with mast. In compliance with one version, mast and keel, acted on by wind, rotates about its axis shifted relative to ship lengthwise axis and perpendicular to it. In compliance with another version, mast and keel translate crosswise to ship axis. In compliance with third version, mast has rigid linkage with the keel and swings about the axis parallel to ship lengthwise axis or aligned with it. In compliance with all versions, the keel, when acting on water, generates propellant force to allow rectilinear motion of the ship.
