摘要 FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed ghost target represents aircraft engine nozzle or air intake simulator and comprises cylindrical case with IR-radiation pyro charge arranged therein with a gap. Said case is made from material identical to that of aircraft engine nozzle or air intake, or from material with radiation spectrum approximating to that of aircraft engine nozzle or air intake, or said case is coated with material with radiation spectrum approximating to that of aircraft engine nozzle or air intake. Case can be perforated or furnished with nozzles intended for release of gas brought about by pyro charger combustion. Proposed invention differs from known designs in that said case is additionally coated by layer of IR-lucent material. Bearing rib, or flanging, or folding and primer seat can be made on said case. Case faces can have annular corrugation or relief. Pyro charge can comprises oxygen-emitting metal compounds of aircraft engine nozzle or air intake alloys, or dispersed amorphous iron or iron-containing alloy. ^ EFFECT: radiation spectrum approximating to that of aircraft engine or air intake. ^ 6 cl, 1 dwg
