PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyhalogenated phthalocyanine pigment composition which, when used for a color filter used in a color liquid crystal display device and a solid-state image sensor, can make the color filter excellent in display quality and high in contrast and lightness. SOLUTION: A polyhalogenated phthalocyanine pigment composition obtained by wet-grinding a polyhalogenated phthalocyanine, an azoic pigment derivative and a styrene acrylic resin in the presence of an inorganic salt and an organic solvent is provided.
