<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a bath device, having an automatic flow channel switching mechanism, to perform reheating even in an air-bubble operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This bath device 1 includes an automatic heat retention function, and a temperature of hot water in a bathtub 5 is detected by every specific time to automatically start reheating when the temperature is lower than a lower limit of a prescribed target temperature. In a case when the air-bubble operation is performed while executing reheating by action of the automatic heat retention function, a temperature of hot water/water supplied to a bathtub 5 side from a circulation pipe is controlled to be lower than a temperature of hot water/water in performing normal reheating.
