<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system suppressing the occurrence of a crime by preventing a resident from running into a criminal and elongating the escape route of the criminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the security system including a building guard system for guarding a door of a building and an elevator control device for controlling an elevator arranged in the building in order to secure security in the inside of the building, the building guard system includes a guard device for detecting illegal opening of the doors, and a center guard device for specifying a floor of the door illegally opened and notifying the elevator control device of the specified floor and the illegal opening. When the elevator control device receives the notification that the door is illegally opened from the building guard system, the elevator control device cancels landing call, and stops a car on a floor other than the specified floor, and then, stops the operation of the elevator.
