<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for a vehicle capable of preventing the damage of a switch when closing the switch. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device for the vehicle includes: a generator 2; a sub-power supply 3 and a main power supply 4; a DC-DC converter 6; a switch 7; a first voltage sensor 9 detecting the output voltage of the sub-power supply 3; and a controller 8. The controller 8 controls the output voltage of the DC-DC converter 6 so as to be approximately equalized to an input voltage, and controls the switch 7 so as to be closed on the basis of a voltage detected by the first voltage sensor 9, thus preventing the generation of a short circuit when closing the switch 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
