PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply treatment apparatus for a humidifier, capable of preventing the propagation of bacteria on an RO film and on its secondary side over a long period of time, and to provide a method of operating the same, and the humidifier. SOLUTION: The water supply treatment apparatus for treating water supply to the humidifier includes: a first silver zeolite treatment means for sterilizing water to be treated by bringing it into contact with silver carrying zeolite; a reverse osmosis treatment means for performing reverse osmosis treatment to the water treated in the first silver zeolite treatment means; and a second silver zeolite treatment means for sterilizing the water treated in the reverse osmosis treatment means by bringing it into contact with the silver carrying zeolite.
